  • Is future in danger

I got pre-completion OPT from Sep 23rd 2013- Dec 12th 2013 , took training from a consultancy but did not get any job offer and for the safe side had my payroll run but my employer ran it from 9-16-13 to 10-15-13 so that was before my OPT. I also got an offer letter from consultancy with start date as 10-14-13 I haven't reported to DSO yet and now applying for Post-completion OPT without showing any previous employment documents. My questions are

    1. Is it safe to tell USCIS that I was employed or better to say that I was unemployed , taking training and forget the payroll
    2. Will any of this cause a problem while filing for H-1B later or in the future for anything
    3. I would now like to change consultancy , do they have to know about my previous consultancy.

    Thanks in advance.

Hello guys. I felt my case would be a little relevant to the discussion. I am currently volunteering and I'm almost three months away from OPT expiration. Would it be possible to apply for extension without payroll? i'm a STEM graduate.
