OPT payroll on bench

Hi Friends , I am on opt . work for desi concultancy . Recently my job ends at client location . I would like to know the minimum salary to be run as payroll when not working for any client ( to respond safely for OPT extension RFE , in case ) . Will it be ok to run different amounts as pay roll when work at client or on bench ? ) . any suggestions would be appreciated to deal with this situations . ( i have to apply for opt extension in 1 month . )

1 minimum wage is fine .. even it is 1 hr also it is fine ..

it's not necessary to get paid during OPT, it could be unpaid or voluntary job also.....
