Travelling to India with 1 month left on OPT

My EAD card (OPT status) ends on Feb 2nd week 2014. I have to urgently go to India to visit my family for 2 weeks, Dec 31st 2013 to Jan 15 2014.

I'm not eligible yet for an extension of OPT neither for an H1B. (The company won't sponsor it at this time, neither is it everified).

Is it advisable to go for it?

Not.an.issue.for travel .. why were u not qualified for extension ?? Is.it.bcoz of.everify ??
