Sorry I'm not sure if I've actually spelt the word correctly.
During my return from India, the CBP officer asked me if I have previously traveled abroad on OPT. With my answer as No, I was told that I need to get a Parole / Payroll Stamp. I was taken to the secondary check counter and was asked to wait. After about 5 minutes, I was handed over all my documents (Passport, Visa I-20 and EAD. No questioning was done and Passport was stamped.
Does anybody know what exactly does this Parole / Payroll stamp mean.
Thnak you.
