No you can't pause. You will lose the rest of OPT period. You can't get another OPT on masters. It has to be higher degree.

hi, I completed my masters in telecommunication Engineering and am currentely working as Network Engineer on my OPT. I am interested in pursuing Graduate Level degree in information sciences. My question is - is there any way I can pause my OPT? complete second degree and then continue it again?? If I cancel my OPT now for other masters degree, would I get OPT and or STEM extension again? Please Help.
