in case the 90 day unemployment deadline crosses, do I have to immediately leave the US or will I get 60 day period by which i have to leave ? Do i need to inform the international student body of my university for such a case prior to 90th day ? -

1. Yes, You are right. You need to fill OPT self report to DSO.
The employer will give you a W4 form and you need to fill it. The tax rates will be calculated according to the home address given by you

OPT Self Report
Hi,
1.During the OPT period if I get a job are there any other formalities that need to be done other than filling the OPT Self Report online ?
2. After my 3 months unemployment period is over and I get transferred to another company, do I update it in OPT Self Report ?
