Urgent: Emplyoer zip code incorrect on page 3 of I20 and travelling to india tomorrow

Hi all,

I am really worried! I was just gathering my documents and keeping them handy, since I have a flight to India tomorrow and I noticed that the DSO has made a mistake with the zipcode of my employer's address. I have written to her, but there is no chance she will reply before I leave(I am visiting india for a family emergency). I am taking all docs of support, i.e. bank statements, job offer letter,opt card etc.Will the typo in the zipcode be an issue upon re-entry?

Cant they mail you an other I-20 while u are in India?
Universities will usually do it.

No problem dude ...unless u have all other documents supporting ur ..they don't even see them

If you will explain typo error they will be understand and you will provide correct address they will make sure in system so don't be worry and enjoy India trip

Should not be a problem. Actually what if you change the employer, in that case the previous employer is still in your I20 and not the new one. but make sure to keep the offer letter and a letter from employer when confirming that you need to enter for your job.

Definitely Not a problem...If she is going to reply you take the print out of the email in worst case scenario
