Documents to show financial loss for Extended Review opt application

URGENT:

Hello desiopt,

After applying for opt (12th August) and waiting for more than 100 days I was told by USCIS that my case is in Extended Review and is currently under processing hold and security check. I was suggested by some friends to make an appointment with info-pass USCIS base on financial loss. I have my appointment tomorrow and I need to have some suggestions to prove effectively my financial loss and condition by showing some documents. Can you please give me some ideas so that I can take those documents and speak accordingly. I'm already taking an expired insurance policy showing that I currently don't have insurance and an offer letter form a job offer that I currently have.

All ideas will be appreciated.

Hmm all the best they usually buy u r words as it is 100 days .. and u loose u r opt as u should complete it before 14 months of completion of graduation .. tell this point also

What kind of security check they are doing ?? If u dont mind can u give us more details

They are of no use. I took the appointment and that guy went on Google Chrome and looked up for your status on USCIS website and told it was pending...You can do that yourself right?

Hey could you please share your experience. I am currently in a similar situation. I have completed my 72 days since application and they gave me both the reasons so far. Processing hold due to pending security check and extended review. I would be glad if you could share some of your information related to finally getting and OPT and how long it took for you?

Hi Sameer,

I am in similar situation where I opened a service request after 75 days and they responded saying your application needs security check, please get back to us if you don't hear back after 6 months. I have graduated in Dec. If I don't get EAD before Feb end, I will have to leave the country. I already have multiple job offers.

Can you let me know how you resolved ur case and what I can do.
