OPT extension denail reason

Hi everyone, as I mentioned previously I got my OPT extension denied, the reason Explained in the letter was that I was unpaid and under training period for 6 months. As I did not have my pay roll running, USCIS considered it as unemployed so I was denied.

After checking the status online about denial, I applied for universities and got my I-20s.
I also came back to India after my sevis was completed and also within 30days of my denail. My questions are

1) can I re enter with my new I-20 and also with new sevis?

2) should I re-renter exactly before 30days of start date of classes?

3) My new academic program duration is 5 months more than my F1visa status, will it effect at port of entry?

4) Can I tell at port of entry about my previous sevis termination reason?

5) can I come to the same university I did my 1st MS again with different program ?

Hello Raj. What did u mention in your offer letter? I have similar kind of rfe.. were you working by the time you applied for stem opt?

1 yes u can re enter 30 days before program start date .. with valid visa ..

3 nope .. u have to have valid visa at the time of POE that is enough ..it does not effect u r future stay ..
4 hmm they dont even ask ..all they need is u r current status ..

usually it works if u have all the paystubs, wat did ur RFE say? just employment history???

May i know after how many days of your opt start date u have updated your employer information to the university??? Please anyone who are with the same issue do answer this...

you can be unpaid on OPT my advisor also said same
