unpaid internship on OPT

Hi,

I joined a consulting firm towards the end of my 90 day to maintain my status and I showed it as an unpaid internship. I did not take up a job from them and kept looking for a job in my field, mechanical. I am now applying for extension through same consulting firm and I haven't been on their payroll all this time. I am from tx. What are the chances of extension getting approved/rejected. What my other options if it gets rejected ?

never say that you have work as a trainee or unpaid intern because uscis dont consider them as a employment. mine opt is got rejected due to same reason i put in rfe.

Apply opt as soon as possible .. if u get rfe u can show it as unpaid intern or volunteer work .. but for better results use attorney if u get rfe..

it is possible ..u need to fallow law to show that .. uscis has different rules for those type of employment ..WH has also applying rules u need to fallow all ..
