    Hi,

    If I file a green card with employer A in eb3 then how long should i need to stay with that employer so that when I can ask the employer B to convert my greencard from eb3 to eb2.

      GC id for future employment .. in order to keep PD (priority date ) you need to have approval of I140 .. so it depends on u r employer(A) u can leave if he agrees to continue u r GC process .. if he does not then stay till approval of I140 .. and with new employer (B) it is new application it not conversion bt u can keep u r PD ..

        and one more correction you dont file for u r GC u r employer have to do it ..

          and remember EB2 requirements .. job description should say bachelor + 5 yr or advanced degree( masters according to higher education act 1965 ) ..

              PERM will take about 2-6 months --I140 will take around 6month-2years ..

                After that if I convert to eb2 how many years for green card

                  big question .. it depends on lot of factors so unlikely to predict .. but EB2 is faster in current laws ..

                      first that number is just a prediction not a firm number ..
                      and that 5 yr is after u r PD .. and when u r in EB2 ..
