Travelling Outside U.S. After Applying OPT-Extension

Hi,

[B]What if I want to travel outside the U.S. while my OPT card is still valid but after applying for my OPT Extension?[/B]
My OPT expires on Jan 15 2014
and I might be applying for OPT Extension on 21 October 2013.

[B]My travel Plan : [/B]Leave US on 25 October 2013 and be back on 08 December 2013

Will it be safe to Travel outside U.S. and come back.

Can you please respond to my question? I'd appreciate your input on this.

Actually i have the same question. But when i discussed this issue with my university ISS people(DSO), they said me not to leave the country after applying OPT EXT.

If you have valid VISA, VALID Passport You have no issues and I am sure about it

Unless or until you Violated F1 VISA rules or F1 OPT rules you are good to go always
