RFE OPT Extension- URGENT

Hello !! Its urgent. I was unemployed for two months in my first OPT period and did not update this unemployment period in the university as I was busy applying for the full time. When I applied for STEM Extension I got an RFE asking for Employment History.
- Will there be any problem as I did not update it at that time? Please advice.

no problem...uscis gives you 90 days unemployment time

After 90 days does the employer need to submit the letter to the university or is it enough if we just update the details of the company to the university??
