    Hi, My problem is that I am completing my MS in CS with in a year like 11 months.
    -Would it be a problem in my OPT period?
    -Do I get OPT and EAD card period like remaining all other people?

    I guess you are eligible for both OPT and CPT after two semesters... So I guess you should not have any issues.. To get a clear picture, ask ur University's DSO.

      I finished my MBA in health care in 10 months and I got OPT for 12 months. You should be fine

        hmm check with u r dso first .. u need to have 1 full time academic yr to eligible for opt ..

          You are eligible to get OPT as well a STEM extension. In my opinion duration of MS program should not matter.You are good to go.

              Check with your DSO on how they define One Academic Year. Example: "One academic year" at University of Washington is defined as three full-time quarters per the academic calendar, including final exams week. An exception to the academic year rule is provided for graduate students whose programs require immediate participation in CPT.
