Letter from Immigration-Asking me to come for Biometric? Is this normal?

Need help. I applied online for OPT (form 1-765), I haven't sent any supporting documents yet. But today I received a letter from Immigration asking me to come in for biometric? Is this normal.

It's normal! They will ask for bio-metrics for all those who applied thru ONLINE. Do not miss it at any cost. If you miss it, you have to start entire process again.

So they wont ask for the documents? I am going to mail it on wednesdays certified

For biometrics, just carry the documentation mentioned in the appointment letter from USCIS (letter&photo id, i guess). It only takes 10-15min, depends on crowd on that day. All you need to do is, fill a form and wait for ur turn to give finger prints. Good luck.
