My H1-B is expiring on July 7th 2020 and My wife has H4 and H4-EAD expiring on the same day. My wife is currently has a job. We know that the H4 extension is taking a lot of time now because of this biometrics dependency and a result of this, it is impossible for a H4 holder to get the H4 and H4 EAD approved before it is expiring. And it is crucial for a H4 who has a job. My employer will apply my H1B extension in premium processing as soon as I ma eligible to apply(6 months before i.e., Jan 7th). So, is it a good option to go to India after my H1B extension gets approved to get the H4 stamping and after returning to USA, she can apply for EAD. My wife is eligible for drop box in India. Right now the consulates are open for drop box. Considering covid and all, is this option safe to take. Another option is to go to Mexico or Canada. But in Mexico or Canada, she has to go for an interview. Could any one post their VISA experience to have the H4 extension stamping in Mexico or Canada. How to answer the question on why did you travel here. Thank you in advance for any one helping me in answering this question.
