h1b query

I'm currently working with employer A and got my initial h1b picked with employer B and have an RFE. Can I transfer my h1b to employer A at this stage or Can i do it as soon as its approved or do i need to go and work for employer B. My mistake was I didn't do proper research on employer B but he turned out evil. I don't want to work to him. Any help appreciated.

If he is evil u dont need to join him . He has all rights about u r h1 untill it is approved .

If you haven't got your H1 approved then technically you aren't on H1 with the employer..
You can't change your employer during an rfe process (can happen at times, situationally) as this is just your interest that is not in line with anything that uscis would consider valid reason to change employer.
Transfer of H1 can happen anytime after approval, technically, but any verified employer would need at least two previous concicutive pay stubs to transfer..

Even though the employer is "evil", start working for B, then transfer at a later date.

Just wait until the visa is approved and transfer to employer A whenever your employer A files for H1b petition. I did the same last month.

Employer A can file the transfer as soon as the H-1B is approved.
