Computer science to Computational Science- Is this STEM degree? Will there be issues

It depends in which college of your university you have registered. Mostly this course is with Computing college, but at times it offered with subjects in MBA schools. Its very important how the course is defined in your school.

I came for summer and my major is Computer Science. I want to get transferred to Computational Science as I can complete my master in one year.If I take that as my major, will it spoil my chances when I apply for H1B? and Do I get OPT extension on Computational Science? Help me out.
