Hi
I got through the H1B lottery this year and my employer has received the I-797 approval notice. Now my employer is saying that they will only approve my stamping if I get a long-term assignment from the US. Can someone please help with the following:
1) Can my employer prevent the stamping this way?
2) If I don't get an assignment sometime soon, will I end up losing the visa?
3) Can I join some other company in the US with the approval notice, but no stamping?
