H1B package and check returned but sevis status shows receipt number with intial revw
Hey all, i called today to my DSO for sevis transfer to new college for double masters to get my CPT effective july 1st. She gave me an receipt number EAC13137*** and told me it is in pending status., but my employer informed me that my package and check had been returned on may 27th.When i check the status at uSCIS it is in initial review, saying that 129 petition is received on april 8th. Do any of us know or face this situation, is it common procedure or any action need to be taken.. I am bit confused/ as i was disappointed that my application was not selected i lottery and now i came to know about this. Let me know/if any of you guys face or had this issue earlie.. Thanks,,!!

can u please let us know about the new college which gives CPT. My case was also not selectedfor h-1 and I need CPT as well. My college refused to give CPT for new new degree .Comment
