Client changed after RFE

Hi all ,

Here is my case , Can you please advice me on this situation for proceeding further.I got an offer from client A in march. As my position was confirmed with client A, my employer filed H1 on Client A as a future employee(starts from Oct 1). after filing H1 client A dropped my position due to some budget issues. Later I got another offer from Client B and currently working with client B. Last week I got an RFE for client letter and etc., My concern is, is there any way to support RFE with Client B (Client B is willing to provide all necessary documentation). My employer told me that he is going to file an amendment with Client B location after that he will respond to that RFE. Is this the right way to proceed ? Can you please advice me on this , How i can proceed further.

How can an H-1B amended if it has not been approved yet? Once USCIS gets the H-1B Amendment request, they will send an RFE stating that they cannot make a decision on the Amendment without the first H-1B being approved.

yes go a head and do what u r employer suggest you let the rfe get cleared and then file amdement

If you are working from.same msa then u can go.ahead with client b . If they are different msa then it is highly impossible to get u r h1.

If your h1b is not approved with client A, you cannot amend with client B. Sailed in same boat and decision was denied.

You should submit all docs for Client A and Client B !

You have to be approved for client A first, in order to quality for amendment or transfer.
