  • Multiple h1b petitions selected in lottery

I had applied h1b from 2 employers. Both of them got picked up in lottery. I want to know if I should tell employer B to withdraw since I want to go with employer A. Or I should wait till both of them gets approved. Are 2 selected petitions processed independent of each other? When do I have to tell B that I don't want to join them. Does USCIS inform both employers about situation? Will USCIS ask me to select 1 employer once both are approved?

Have you ever heard of a term ethical? Yes,one could have done the same but instead opted to be fair and not abuse the h1b applications.

It is legal. You are not allowed to file two petitions from the same employer but you are allowed to file 2 or more petitions from different employers.

Instead of paying for second masters which will be another 20-30k USD, it will be easy to file another H1B with 4-8k USD which is legal. Here for the first application current employer will pay and for the extra application, the person will pay it.

                            1) uscis shud make this illegal, even if it is from 2 different employers....they should allow to change employer even when descision is pendingn so that this is not required....even if they dont i am sure that there wont be more 10 cases where a person wants to change his employer and cant wait till oct 1

                            2) they should make masters quota 40000...so that companies like tcs dont flood with techies from india...the people that these companies bring, most of them, are below expectations. Also those people have nothing to loose since they are already working in india. I feel we, the students who come here for education are at disadvantage because of this. We spend thousands in better quality education (education quality is far better in USA than india, isnt that why we came here) and then few of us have to go back or go back to college (spend more!!!) ...where as that techie in india will be at peace since he isnt loosing anything even if not picked up

First pick your employer and let other employer know to cancel... Cool down your comments guys... If you have answer just post it or else just shut up . If anyone's cancels the the application. USCIS do have the other in Que..
No one wants to simply spend there money just for fun.. They were stuck on that.. That is the reason.
