Advance Degree Regular Processing H1b Application

Hi,
I am waiting for my H1B Lottery Decision for FY 2017. My employer applied under Regular Processing. The Question i have is Sometimes You get to Know the Decision Via your SEVIS ID Update. So after how many days does your Sevis ID get updated if your Application is picked in the lottery. Also does USCIS let your University know before your Employer in case of Regular Processing?

It depends how uscis update sevis records for cap gap

Generally with in few weeks of lottery .

I have a question in d same context, my H1 got picked however I am on CPT right now, so do I have to continue CPT till October or I can start working on H1 before?

You wont be able to start working on H1 before your application is processed..and even after application gets processed ur start date will be 1st october..and you OPT will get auto adjusted TO 31st sep..i know it happened to me as mine was expiring on 5th june but due to cap gap it was adjusted to 31st sep

Thanks a lot for your response, in m case it was expired on March 31st and I am on CPT after that. So does my previous OPT gets adjusted?

when are the check cashed for H1B applications...Does USCIS cash them after the lottery is done or before sending the receipts...My main doubt is for Regular processing....If a X employers applies for 6 people...and in total 4 people get picked up....Is it possible that 2 Checked were cashed in first and their receipts were sent initially and then after some days other 2 receipts were sent and then there checks cashed..

Receipt will not be sent unless checks are cashed..and even after cashing the checks the receipt might reach the applicants at different times..

so hypothetically if the employers says that 2 checks have been cashed till now...will there be a chance that more checks will be cashed in following days if those applications are selected in lottery?
