Can we change employer while applying H1 ?
Hi all, My situation.. My current employer desk consultant is applying for my h1 this April. My project got completed recently and been marketed aging for new project... In the mean time i am allow applying and interviewing fro full-time opportunity. My question is if i get lucky and get full-time offer, What will happen to my h1 application ? Will the new full-time employer be able to transfer it from my current employer beginning of October ? What is the best approach in this situation ? any advice will be appreciated.. Thank you for the helping and making an impact in thousands of students life with valuable advice...

yes you can change your employment.
You will need to preferably wait till the application is processed before you quit.
I would personally say stick till november and then transfer. The other company has to just file a transfer petition.Comment
