Essential Documents for H1B

Guys , do we need to have an original transcript for H1B filing ? Can someone please tell me ? I have original COPY from the university but my main transcripts are still stuck as I am paying off my tuition . I just got notified from the immigration lawyer that she needs my original transcripts . Can someone please clarify ? I can understand that we might need it once it's picked up by the lottery ? Even then , I'm not sure but someone please let me know if we need it during filing ? I still have to pay off the school by the full amount but I can't do it in 2 weeks. 2 months will be more reasonable ? If I'm picked in lottery , that's the timeline I'm looking at I guess ?

Your attorney wants a copy of your official transcripts. USCIS, in most cases, does not want any original documents.

I think original is recommended but not required. Copies should be fine
Also, you dont send documents after lottery. The complete package is sent during lottery. If it is seected and they need more docs they will ask as RFE
