Dropping course after H1 approval

Hi guys, I got my H1B approved after joining second masters program. Can i drop the courses and discontinue from it. Will there be any questions/issues arise if i do so?
Will they ask any particular questions at the US consulate while issuing visa when i step out from US. Please let me know.
