Hello, My OPT extension ended on Dec 02 2015. My H1b was filed by 20th Nov. Then I got an RFE and resubmitted with the remaining documents. 2 days back i checked my status in USCIS website and it was denied. So I called up a university who offer day 1 CPT. But now the problem is my old university is saying they cannot transfer my SEVIS as I had 60 days to do that and 60 days from 2nd DEC is 2nd Feb, 2016. But at that time I did not know the status of my H1b as it was under review. So now, how can i get into a valid status without leaving the country? Please advise.
