Applying for H1B

Hi All,

[B]Can i Apply for H1B Visa with my name spell wrong on EAD Card[/B].
I have applied for the correction of my name in my EAD card. But now i am so close to the deadline for H1B Visa application and i don't see that USCIS can get that done before February end.
So can i apply for H1B Visa with my present EAD card and later when i get my correct EAD card, can't i just update that.

Can anyone please help me through this.

you have to apply according to the name on the passport
