H1B transfer

Hi,
I have been working as an consultant with a large client for about 2 years. Now that the project has ended and i have a full-time offer in hand with start date around 3 weeks from now. I am wondering if there will be any problems in transferring my h1B. Please let me know the process to transfer such that my employer doesn't know until it is transferred. Are there any documents i should have in hand from my employer before I req for h1b transfer.
Also, will there be any problem for the time gap between these jobs? Please let me know these details.

Not a problem once h1 has been transfered you can notify your employer
