H1 B and STEM OPT applications at the same time

Hello,

Currently I am on my F1-OPT, Which expires in Feb 2016. I have applied for STEM Extension in October 2015, The Status in USCIS says “Case was received”. Now, My new employer which is a Non-Profit Organization, filed for my H1B in January 2016 and was approved. What happens to my Pending STEM OPT application? Should i Withdraw it?

You are no longer in F-1 status. The STEM OPT application should be denied.
