H1B Picked but not approved

Hi,

I am a masters student and my H1B got picked and after 5 months of processing they rejected my case (as of now I don't know the reason) without any query. My question is what might be reason (common reason) for these types of scenario and can I re-open the case once again with my employer and what will be the probability to get approved.

Wait for the document that reasons why your case was rejected. You can always appeal their decision. That might take anywhere from 3-9months.

Does your job title aligns with your job duties?
