  • Attorny Filed my H1b with different job tittle

Hi DesiOPT, I am on OPT and applied for H1B. My attorney filed my job tittle as Programmer Analyst, whereas I am a validation analyst. I’ve received an RFE asking me to provide evidence establishing the link between my Master’s degree (MS in Pharmacology and Toxicology) and my tittle.

Q1. I can establish the link between my masters and my Validation Analyst job. Can I provide these documents as a Validation Analyst to support my tittle as Programmer analyst?

Q2. If the above is not possible, can my job tittle be amended to Validation analyst?

Q3. My Opt is valid up to September 2016, if my H1B gets rejected would my OPT be revoked?

Please suggest me, the best solution for my situation. Thank you in advance.

      2. Yes (as per my understanding)
      3. Your OPT will not be revoked if the H1B is rejected.

        1. No 2. No. Because any change in title will affect lca. And new lca filing and convincing uscis with it is improbable. 3. No it will not be revoked. You are still in fq status and it will continue.

          1) All this job titles are kind of related to each other... But dont hesitate to provide your inputs and pervious experience letters or some proof... That might help your case as your are at receivers end...
          2) dont try change things now... Its not a good idea at this point...
          3) there is no relation between those

What I recommend in add some tool knowledge and some other job duties that will help you to get through this situation... talk to a good lawyer u can find one from avvo.com... Get advise on what action plan can be... Take some time before you respond to the query... I have seen cases were bio and pharma background people getting approval in IT... GOOD LUCK... YOU WILL GET IT
