Change of Status F1 - H1

Hi DesiOPT,
I have a small query in regards of the following
My H1 is approved with change of status for three years and without knowing it I applied for OPT STEM and my OPT will expire in August 20,2015 also received my Cap - Gap i20. Would there any problem with my H1 now?
Also observed USCIS has credited fee for OPT STEM.
Assistance on above is highly appreciated.

after october 1 you will be automatically converted to h1

No impact your sevis will get auto deactivated and your h1b will begin on 1st oct... Good luck

So if you want a third confirmation:, ), yes everything will be fine, your F1 will be terminated on Oct 1st and you will automatically be switched to H1, Congrats!

Hi,

I got my H1b filed from 2 employers and both were picked in lottery.
However, my updated I20 has only 1 receipt number. Can someone tell me why this is the case?

I agree! This guy did what he needed to secure his position in the lottery and two different employers with genuine job offers sponsoring H1B is completely legal according to USCIS...
