Hi ,
I am on my OPT extension and my employer applied for H1 this year .I was told by my employer that my case was picked and even the cheque was encashed. But till now there is now my employer did not receive receipt number .One of my friend suggested to contact DSO and when i contacted them to see whether there is any change in my status they replied saying "Showing the following Change of Status pending receipt number : EAC********** . But when i check on the site it gives the below error
"Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. "
I tried calling USCIS and all they are saying is to wait.
The million dollar question is whether my case selected or not ????? Did any one face same problem ??? Need some inputs on this,this is really frustrating me
