How frequently I can change employer on H1B

Hi Friends,

Currently I am on H1B and planning to switch, but all the employers are giving hike on my W2 only and not depending upon the State they are hiring. Apart from that my Wife got an admission in NY which I know is a pretty expensive place to survive and I am in Arizona right now and my current salary scale is very low. I wanted to choose one of the multiple offers in my hand and thinking of switching back again after 2-3 months near to my wife's college. So wanted to check few questions:

Q1: Is there any harm in switching companies so frequently on H1B?
Q2: Will it impact my Visa Extension due next year in September?

you can change any number of times 2) It will not effect but try to move to a company who are working as prime venodors so that you wont need to change employers client --->prime vendor---->employer--->h1 tax(30 %) .find an employer who can get a project with your constraints . there is nothing harm I have ssen people doing this to get their projects near to their spouse lives

You can change employers as many times you want but just remember every you change an employer your petition is treated as a new one... it will take time more than you think as uscis takes long time to process application... then comes rfes and all...good luck

there is chance for RFE if you change employers on regular basis..

u can change as many as u want .. but if you change more frequently uscis may ask about u r maintenance of status . so if you want to change more often then be more care full to save pay stubs,w2, offer lettters ,termination letters and employment verification letters
