FY 2016 Cap Worst Case Scenario Planning

Hello Everyone,

I am employed in a Fortune 500 company right now and the previous company was also one of them (both on OPT & extension)

My company has offices in EU and my department is there too, I however work for NA side.

As I see that the cap has broken all records, I am planning to prepare for worst case scenario.
Can anyone tell me the options I might have....I see that choosing Day 1 CPT school is one
But does anyone have an idea or personal experience where they shifted outside of US for same company (EU in my case) & then applied again and were successful?

I just need to know if that could be a possibility?

i think europe is also a very good place to live. Just stick with your company and it will pay you off

Thr's always an option of coming back on some visa. The problem is getting an H1will be even tougher in the coming years. Last yr it was 175k, nw its 233k and next yr it will be 500k.

i have an uncle who lost lottery last year, is working in EU right now, and his company applied for H1 this time, but will also apply for L1B if he loses this time
