Changing company after H1B lottery

Hello,I came to the country on August 2012 with F1 visa to go to grad school for computer science. I graduated May 2014 and I've been working under OPT. I started my OPT on June 3rd 2014(so it's almost been a year). The company that I currently work for has applied for my H1b visa this year. but I got a job offer today from another company which I really want to work for. they are wiling to do the sponsorship for me too.

1. Since the H1b lottery was yesterday. I'm not sure if I can accept the new job offer or not and does it affect the visa process or not

Tell them your situation. They can move your start date to after October

As per the new rules if you change your employer before October 1st your current H1B application will be deemed abandoned. *just my opinion* it's better to transfer after the start date. If they can't wait don't worry you'll find another one. Chill.

1 better to wait till decision of u r h1 .. U can only transfer approved h1 .. If it is before cos or stamping .. it should be valid at time of u r transfer ..
