H1B Visa Stamping in October- Is it too early?

My H1B got approved this year. Is it safe to go travel to India in October 2nd week for Visa Stamping? Or is it recommended to go after a few months?

I heard someone got a yellow slip (Administrative delay) because his information didnt get updated in Petition Information Management Service (PIMS)
