F1 to H1B --

Few more questions about H1 to F1...

1) Can employer come to know if I have applied for change of status to F1?

2) Does issuance of i20 end your h1b status?? Or is it after visa application with COS from USCIS?

1. If you are planning to change your status from H1 to F1, you have to let your employer know about it. Your primary employer should always be well communicated. 2. Getting I-20 does not end your H1 Visa, only after COS. FYI, you can also take classes while you are in H1, you have to get a no objection letter from your employer and give to you advisor, and then you are gtg. All the best!
