Effect of F grade on H1B

Hi,

My employer is filing my H1B and has asked for my Masters transcripts. I have an F grade on my transcript. I graduated with a 3+ GPA and the course was retaken. But the F grade is still shown on my transcript will that cause a problem during H1B ?

No it wont. I too had a F Grade on my profile and it doesnt affect your H1B chances. H1B depends on your luck of getting picked up in the lottery.

no problem we are 150 students from a university who has f grade so you wont have any problem in h1 5 of my close friends got h1 and I am hoping

It doesn't matter whether you have f grade or d grade. As long as you have gap of 3 or above and you have ms degree certificate, you are eligible to apply under masters quota

A GPA of 3 is required only to graduate from the University... These is no requirement stated by USCIS that a 3 GPA is required for either OPT Extension or H1B
