H4 to H1B

Hi,

I have one doubt regarding H1 B application.I am currently on H4 and would like to apply for H1B 2016.I completed my bachelors in 2013 and donot have any work experience.I heard that a H4 should need a minimum of 2 years experience in his/her field of study to apply for H1B Visa.Is that true?Do I really need any experience for applying H1 B?

This should’ve been discussed with your attorney already. If you are filing for H-1B this year, the application process needs to be started NOW or your application will not be submitted on time. The LCA itself will take 7 business days to get certified.
There is no requirement for H-1B holders to have experience. The requirement is that you need to have a four-year degree that is equivalent to a U.S. degree. If you only have a 3-year degree (for example, BCom or BSc from India), you need 3 years of progressive experience to make up for the 1 missing year of education.
