I will be applying for h-1b this year. In case it doesn't get through the lottery, what are the colleges in the chicago area that offer CPT from day 1 that i can enroll in?

CPT not safe option be careful as it might jeopardize you legal status and if you not luck to get selected for H1b then take part time CPT there is no limit on number of months and no legal obligations too.... Good LuckComment

CPT is dangerous for people who are one first masters not for people who already have a US degree. People like the guy/girl who posted this already has a degree from US and are eligible for fulltime cpt of 40hrs.Originally posted by DesiOPT-FaceBook-Fan View Post
@Ricky- part time cpt means 20hrs cpt which is usually given for internships once u finish ur first 2-3 sems (as per univ rules) of ur first degree in the USComment
