H1B with Advanced Degree Rejection Rate
My employer will be applying for a H1B application of my behalf on 1 Apr 2015 under the advanced degree category.
Since the exact number for H1B applications with advanced degree quota is not disclosed by the USCIS, it is difficult to predict the odds of success for the candidates who apply in this category. All forums and websites predict the odds of H1b success after including both advanced and general pool numbers. The probability of success from the lottery is obviously very different for candidates in both categories.
I personally do not know or could find any information/anecdotes on people with a Masters or PhD degree from a reputed institution with an unfavorable result from H1 lottery.

About me - I have a Phd from a reputed public research university and current on F-1 STEM OPT extension, due to expire at the end of year.
