  • Accountant to Business Analyst or Accountant to SAP FICO Transition

I have done MBA (Financial Management) from an accredited US College, after graduating I was hired as an accountant and My H1B was filed, I am working as an accountant on "quickbooks" with the same company from last 4 years, last year my I-140 was also approved from the same company. My question today is that i am planning to change the job and make a transition, in order to plot a transition, I have decided few things and i am lit scared of getting RFE

Question-1 Looking to my past job as an accountant (working on Quickbooks) Should I go for SAP FICO training and certification (from SAP Approved Partner) or Business Analysis training and certification (Univ. of Delaware)

Question-2 Once I am able to find a Job with a new company as a "Business Analyst" or "SAP Fi Consultant" and if the company is ready to transfer the H1B , what are the chances of getting a RFE? and would I be able to resolve the RFE just on the basis of Certification, because my past experience won't relate to the new Job.

    Thanks

H-1B’s are more dependent on your bachelor’s degree and master’s degree education. Using certifications obtained in the U.S. in non-related subjects to qualify for jobs that your degree does not qualify you for is not advisable on H-1B. If your undergraduate degree qualifies you, then you may be okay.

SAP FICO is the important module of ERP and both FI and CO module stores the financial transaction data. During training, they can teach us in a easy with step-by-step process.
