My h1B got approved for one year until Sept 2015. I am currently working offsite at a client's site and thier contract ends in June. My LCA states that I will be working from home(same city as client) after June. I would like to apply for h1 extension, but my employer is also looking to renew the contract. If I apply for my extension and say that Im working from home in LCA will that still be valid no matter what happens to the contract? Is my employer obligated to provide contract info to USCIS if Im working from home? Also My employer does not want my H1B tied to the contract with the current client since he wants to put me on a different project later. (he says working from home is ok) Is that something that can be done?
