  • H1b sponsoring!

Hello DesiOPT, Thanks a lot for helping fellow students.

I have a full time job opportunity from a company. I hope they will sponsor me H1B in the future. Suppose if they are not willing to,

    1. Can any desi consultancy sponsor me H1B if I pay them the money while I still work for the full time company?
    2. If yes, what would be the procedure?

    Thanks in advance.

          1. Yes, a consultancy can sponsor you for H1 but you have to work full time for the consultancy from Oct 1st if the H1 is approved.
          2. Each employer has their own policies. Try contacting consultancies with some references and they could let you know their procedure.

consulting firm wil sponsor h1 b , 2) full time means you will be getting w2 from the company for which you are working .So your employer for which u are working should be able to do corp to corp with the consulting firm who is filing your h1.most of the employers will sponsor h1 if you need or they will tel lin the interview should be able to work in us without sponsrship of visa

I'm having the same problem. My employer said that would apply for my visa and then the HR manager quit. Now they aren't. My STEM extention expires soon. What other options do I have?

                              1. Find an employer, preferably a desi consultancy and request them to sponsor you for H1.
