H1B Paperwork - Employment History

Hi, I joined consultancy firm on OPT which started on April 21st 2014, I updated the school with the consultancy name to avoid employment period. Fortunately, I got hired directly at a reputed firm (full-time), without consultant firm’s help. My full-time employment started on June 2nd 2014 and the company will be applying my H1B in FY2015.

For H1B paperwork purpose:
1) Will I have to provide details about the consultancy firm I joined (April 21st – June 1st) in my employment history? I was not paid.
2) Will I need to provide offer letter of work, unpaid training details, from consultancy firm?
3) If yes for above questions, what if consultancy firm deny providing offer letter and related details. Do I have any other options?

1. H-1B petition does not ask for employment history.

1) yes 2) yes 3) that would be a problem. Please communicate these issues clearly with the lawyer filing the H-1b. It's very important for employees to be connected with the lawyer filing the H-1b and communicate directly whenever possible. A good lawyer may have some alternate suggestions for you based on the type of training you received and any evidence you have of the training.
