Options for Medical Insurance on H1 or OPT

Hi All,

My Husband (H1 B Visa holder), and me (currently on OPT) are currently working as a consultant. His consultancy firm does not provide medical insurance. And My company has a very expensive one. What are the options do we have while buying medical insurance from out side of my company?
Please list out some of the insurance company names if known.

Insurance doesn't change based on visa status unless you take university provided insurance ! You can google for good insurance plans !! I'm

If you are on a student visa you are still eligible for student rate insurance. Just google companies which provide insurance for international students/workers and you will find plans based on the status (OPT, H1B etc). I use ISOA. Never had a chance to make a claim so I can't tell you how good or bad it is.

I would recommend not to go for isoa and psi heath insurance....they do not provide any coverage....you can go for kaiser and Athena like companies which are costly but provide good coverage....
