What is the minimum salary for a full time employee for H1B approval?

Hello,

A start up has employed me full time in the Bay area of San Francisco. Currently am on OPT and being paid around $50,000 per annum as salary. Since it is a start up and is around for about a year, they do not have enough resources to pay me more. But they are compensating this in the form of company shares.

Next year if my company applies for H1B, what is the minimum salary requirement (for California)? Can anybody provide me with the proper link where USCIS or other concerned department has mentioned salary requirement clearly please?

Check for prevailing wage in dol web site for ur job ..

Depends on location and job type

Generally for IT it is around 55-65k

It would be better to have a salary >60k and considering the location you should be compensated >80k.

Keep it more than $63k.. All states are covered..

It depends upon your employer it should be around 60-65k because when ur employer applied for LCA you should file taxes on the amount filed on it .
