H1 only for one year. Stamping and extension??

Hello All,

Thank you everyone who has been helping us with the immigration issues. I am very glad that my H1-B has been approved finally, but, only for an year, it expires on 09/30/2015. My wedding is planned in December 2015. Ultimately, I'll have to apply for a H1 extension. Hoping that it gets approved, should I definitely go get my VISA stamped for the first period(I mean before the extension) or can I go for stamping after my H1 has been extended. Or how I should proceed. Please let me know.

Congrats on getting your H1B approved, You must be happy that you are out F1 and need not worry about submitting paper. Coming to your question H1b is approved they approved if your in a condition with paper work you can go for stamping and get it done for 1 year, but per your question you have plans for Next year too... It would be a good idea if you go for it next year.. start the process for renewing your H1b and plan for a all required visa if you are going to a 3rd nation. Good Luck...
